WhatsApp Is Working on Syncing Chat History between Multiple Devices

WhatsApp may be working on a Companion Mode that allows chat history to be synced across multiple devices.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp may soon get a companion mode that allows another mobile device to be linked to its account.

In the WhatsApp beta update for Android version 2.22.15.13, a pop-up indicator for this companion mode in chats has been revealed, informing that "chat history is syncing" and that it depends on the full transfer of chat history between companion devices to ensure account's privacy.

In addition, WhatsApp may soon release a feature that allows users to choose who can see them when they are online.
