ChatGPT introduces “Year in Review”

ChatGPT has rolled out a new “Year in Review” feature, offering users personalised statistics on chats, messages, and images from 2025.

Users can now review their personal activity in ChatGPT through the new Year in Review feature, which generates a summary on request.

“Now rolling out to everyone in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia who have reference saved memory and reference chat history turned on,” OpenAI said in a statement.

To access the feature, users need to send the message “Show me my year with ChatGPT” in a chat. If the Memory feature is not yet enabled, users will be prompted to turn it on. Once activated, ChatGPT will display the user’s yearly statistics and even award a small “prize.”
