Elon Musk meets Dubai’s crown prince during UAE visit

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met Elon Musk in Dubai.

The meeting took place at the Crown Prince’s majlis in Nad Al Sheba and focused on technology, artificial intelligence and space.

Sheikh Hamdan shared photos from the meeting on social media. The images suggest that Musk was accompanied by his five-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii, during the visit.

“I very much enjoyed a multifaceted discussion with Elon Musk on space, technology and humanity. Excited to see what the future holds,” the Crown Prince wrote on Instagram.

In a separate post on X, Sheikh Hamdan said the meeting highlighted the UAE’s focus on partnerships with global business leaders and innovators, as well as collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Musk responded publicly, thanking the Crown Prince for the hospitality. “Thank you for hosting me in your great country!” he wrote.

No official announcements or agreements were made following the meeting.
