86 per cent of respondents says they expect to see an increase in remote working. 83 per cent prefer companies that offer the opportunity to work remotely.
Ola Haddad, director of human resources at Bayt.com, said:
Flexibility is no longer viewed as an extra benefit, as demonstrated in the Modern Job Search Strategies in the MENA poll. In fact, flexibility is now a minimum requirement as job seekers look for their next career opportunity.
The survey showed what skills and traits companies look for in employees. The most important is adaptability. In addition, the ability to work without supervision and the competence to use virtual work tools are valued. Among the traits, self-motivation and communication skills are highlighted.
The most important parts of the job search are creating a strong CV and cover letter. And the most important tools for job searching are online websites and company websites.
