That makes Bing more rival to Google search.

Microsoft planning to integrate ChatGPT technology into Bing search. The Information report about this, citing two people with direct knowledge of the plans. According to sources, the company wants to make the search system more competitive to Google search.

The company is one of the largest investors in OpenAI (the size of investments exceeded $1 billion). Thanks to this, the corporation has the right to use various technologies of startup for commercial purposes.

Assumedly Microsoft planning to launch the new feature before the end of March 2023. After that Bing could provide more humanlike answers to users' questions. Both systems surface relevant information, but Google provides more detailedly information with the Knowledge Graph.

At the same time, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that shortly you can't rely on ChatGPT for large products. Perhaps this will force Microsoft to be careful and we won't see a public version of Bing with ChatGPT anytime soon.

Important to note that Google is actively developing several AIs using large language models (LLMs). However, in mid-December, after the launch of ChatGPT, the company called off publicly launch such AI due to the high cost of open testing and reputational risks.
