The company formerly known as First Stage Labs is undergoing a strategic rebranding as The Open Platform (TOP) to align with its blockchain partner, the TON Foundation.

This rebranding includes restructuring the business and merging with the team behind Wallet, a cryptocurrency application integrated into Telegram Messenger.

TOP's mission is to make Web3 accessible to people worldwide, promote true ownership, and create new economies by simplifying blockchain services. Wallet, initially introduced as a Telegram bot, has evolved into a comprehensive app and platform that allows users to manage digital assets as easily as sending a message.

Recent developments include a service for Telegram merchants in July and an invite-only developer beta in August for the upcoming self-custodial wallet product, TON Space, with a public release expected later this month.

Andrew Rogozov, CEO of TOP and Wallet companies, expressed confidence in their vision, team, partnerships, and resources. He believes Wallet will significantly boost global cryptocurrency adoption and sees the synergy between The Open Network's blockchain and Telegram Messenger as a catalyst for Web3's growth.

TOP Labs, the venture-building division of The Open Platform, will continue its strategy, fostering an open platform paradigm that supports developers building on their products and utilizing Toncoin as a native asset. Their existing portfolio includes TON-based startups like the non-custodial wallet Tonkeeper, Open Builders community management tools, and the NFT marketplace Getgems.
