It is the first publication from the Steve Jobs Archive.
The Steve Jobs Archive, a repository for the life, work, writings, and correspondence of the late Apple CEO, has released its first publication, titled "Make Something Wonderful." The publication is a collection of Jobs' speeches, interviews, and correspondence, curated by writer and historian Leslie Berlin, and offers readers a unique look into Jobs' thought processes.
The physical book version of "Make Something Wonderful" is a limited-edition collectible, available only to Apple, Disney, and Pixar employees. However, an online version of the publication will be released for free on April 11, 2023, offering a more accessible reading experience for the public. The online book was designed by LoveFrom, the post-Apple consultancy established by Sir Jony Ive, and features a fluid and immersive reading experience, with a ribbon of text that can be zoomed into freely, fullscreen images, and a discrete right-hand scrollbar for chronological navigation.
Make Something Wonderful showcases Jobs' vision and risk-taking approach to technology, offering readers a deeper understanding of the man behind Apple's success. In addition to the online book, a conventional eBook version of the publication will be available on Apple Books, and features an introduction by Jobs' widow, Laurene Powell Jobs. The Steve Jobs Archive is a unique repository for the ideas and thought processes of one of the most influential figures in modern technology, and "Make Something Wonderful" is just the first of what is sure to be many future explorations of Jobs' singular mind.
