Spoilers for files and public avatars — what's new on Telegram beta update 9.3

The Telegram team has posted new beta versions of Telegram for Android and iOS, in which a number of useful new features can be found.

In the beta version of the messenger for Android under version 9.3 (30029), spoilers on files have been discovered. Now when sending a message with the selection of the corresponding function, the media will be spoilered and can only be viewed by tap.

It will also be possible to hide group members (100 participants and above), leaving only administrators. In this case, the administrators of such groups will still be able to see the list of all chat participants.

The Telegram 9.3 update will also introduce public avatars - in the privacy settings you can set a separate public profile photo that will be seen by absolutely all users.

Everyone else will continue to have access to your main profile picture (i.e. all of your uploaded photo and video avatars) if they are on your contacts or exclusion list.

Among other things, in the upcoming Telegram update, the media editor will be updated, and the Data and Memory menu will be improved. These innovations will affect both mobile versions of the messenger - for both Android and iOS.
