Austrian firm FlyNow Aviation is set to introduce a Mars-inspired air taxi to Dubai, drawing inspiration from Nasa's Mars helicopter, 'Ingenuity.'

The ambitious project, undertaken in collaboration with UAE authorities, aims to offer commercial airborne services within the next 28 months, providing an alternative solution to the growing transportation challenges facing megacities around the world.

FlyNow Aviation's Co-founder and CEO, Yvonne Winter, revealed the company's vision, stating,

We have single and twin-seaters. In 28 months, we'll have the startup series production of the cargo version. So, we will have the cargo version before we go into the production of the passenger version.

The electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) boasts a 130kmph cruise speed and a remarkably quiet operation, akin to the sound of a dishwasher.

The cargo version, capable of carrying up to 200kg, aligns with logistics standards, presenting a versatile transportation solution. Winter emphasized the vehicle's autopilot capabilities and predefined routes, ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers.

FlyNow Aviation has already set benchmarks in affordability, operability, certification readiness, and efficiency, backed by patented technology and secured initial customers. Winter highlighted ongoing discussions with regional entities and investors, citing the UAE and Saudi Arabia as lucrative markets.

We see this region, especially the UAE and Saudi Arabia, as a lucrative market. So, the MENA region is our entry point to the Middle Eastern market. We feel that this region is innovative, fast-paced, and ambitious. Therefore, we want to be a part of it,
