How to make a cool avatar inside Telegram

In the first update of 2023, Telegram added new  feature — avatar builder. Here's how to make a cool avatar with it.

Builders on iOS and Android

Stickers and animated emoji can be turned into an animated avatar for your personal account, group or channel. The avatar builder on iOS and Android doesn't differ in appearance, only the paths to it are different:

• On iOS, go to Settings -> Change Photo -> Select Emoji;
• Press the "Go to stickers" button in the menu.

• On Android, go to settings and click on the button to change the avatar;
• If necessary, in the open menu, click on the stickers button in the "Select emoji or sticker" area.

Then it remains to select the desired emoji or sticker from the suggested list. You can also customize the background – choose the suggested one or click on the plus sign to adjust the color shades to your liking.

PC constructor

• In the Telegram app for PC has the same features as in the mobile version;
• For example, on macOS, go to "Settings" -> "Profile" -> "Avatar" -> "Sticker or Emoji";
• If necessary, switch from the "Emoji" tab to the "Sticker" tab.

Unlike the mobile versions of Telegram, here you can adjust the size of the emoji and sticker. Another difference is that you can choose not only a gradient background in different color variations, but also a gradient background with a pattern.
