Telegram introduces checklists and suggested posts

The messenger has rolled out its second summer update, adding several useful new features.

Checklists

Users can now create interactive lists in any chat — making it easier to track tasks collaboratively and coordinate team workflows.

• The feature is also useful for managing to-do lists or grocery shopping.
• List settings allow users to control whether others can check off items or add new ones.
• This feature is available exclusively to Telegram Premium subscribers.

Suggest Posts in Channels

Users can now submit content to channels via a new suggested post interface.

• Posts are submitted in the same way as direct messages to a channel, introduced in the previous update.
• Users can specify a preferred publication date and time — or simply select “Anytime.”

• It’s also possible to offer Telegram Stars or TON cryptocurrency as an incentive for the channel owner to publish the content.
• Balances can be topped up through the Fragment platform.
• Channels receive the funds 24 hours after publication. If the post is deleted earlier, the payment is automatically refunded to the sender.

Monetizing via Suggested Posts

Channels can now attract user-generated content and participate in partnership-based marketing.

• Built-in tools help protect against fraud and maintain user privacy.
• Users can propose edits before publication, including changes to text, images, or price. All parties must approve the final version.
