Durov changed his channel's name to 'Du Rove' in honor of Fool's Day

In honor of April Fool's Day, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov changed the name of his personal channel to 'Du Rove's Channel' and share a real-life story connected to that. As he explained, it also took place in real life as a joke.

Be careful with this day though! Exactly a year ago my assistant jokingly suggested that since I became a French citizen, I should add a blank space in my last name and become a “Du Rov”. Laughing out loud, we filled out a form to “frenchify” my name, which after a few additional touches became “Paul du Rove”

Durov (or Du Rove, to be precise) said, that his application actually got approved and the passport reissued. He is grateful for his assistant's creativity which didn't extend to his Emirati passport.
