Apple’s elusive 3D cinema camera, designed to capture immersive video for the Apple Vision Pro, has resurfaced with new details following the release of "Submerged," a 16-minute short film available for the device.

The camera, still unnamed, uses stereoscopic technology to record in 8K resolution with a 180-degree field of view, designed for creating spatial content for Apple’s headset. The rig is equipped with advanced sensors and microphones capable of capturing multidirectional audio for a fully immersive experience.

While Apple hasn't disclosed specifics or release plans, this is the second known public appearance of the camera, first spotted during an MLS game in May.
