SpaceX is set to launch billionaire Jared Isaacman into orbit for the world's first private spacewalk, aiming for a new launch date of August 19.

The mission, Polaris Dawn, has faced multiple delays, with the latest due to scheduling conflicts on the International Space Station.

Isaacman, a fintech billionaire, will fly aboard a Falcon 9 rocket, marking his second trip with SpaceX after an orbital vacation in 2021. Polaris Dawn, initially slated for late 2022, aims to send Isaacman and his crew farther into Earth's orbit than any previous Dragon mission.

Despite the delays, this mission promises to be a historic event as Isaacman becomes the first space tourist to attempt a spacewalk.
