Apple has won another legal battle against AliveCor over the ECG feature in Apple Watches. U.S. Customs ruled that the redesigned ECG in newer Apple Watches does not violate AliveCor’s patents, allowing Apple to import these watches without extra fees.

AliveCor has faced several setbacks in its lawsuits against Apple, while Masimo successfully got an import ban. However, Apple managed to bypass it with a redesign.

The ruling means Apple can sell its redesigned Apple Watches in the U.S. without any legal issues from AliveCor's patents. AliveCor, which is also appealing a lost antitrust case in California, has been dealt another significant hit.
