Game Boy Camera to make a comeback as a webcam

The 26-year-old Game Boy Camera is about to be reimagined as a quirky webcam.

This transformation is made possible by the GB Operator, a $50 USB dock that allows Game Boy cartridges to be played on a computer through the Playback app and the open-source mGBA emulator.

Epilogue, the company behind GB Operator, announced this new feature, highlighting its simplicity compared to previous complex setups. Epilogue also shared a preview of the webcam feature on social media, touting it as both

the worst and the best webcam you’ll ever have.
