Solos is set to introduce the AirGo Vision, camera-equipped smart glasses featuring OpenAI’s new GPT-4o AI model, aiming to challenge the popular Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.
Unlike Solos' current audio-only glasses, the AirGo Vision will offer hands-free video recording and the ability to recognize objects and answer questions via the integrated AI.
The AirGo Vision boasts a swappable frame system, allowing users to switch out the camera for different looks or non-camera frames, with additional frames priced between $89 and $129. They also include notification LEDs for incoming calls or emails and can integrate with Google Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude AI models.
While the price and release date for the AirGo Vision have not been announced, they are expected to cost more than $249.99, the price of Solos' non-camera model. For comparison, Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses start at $299
