According to Rodriguez's screenshot, Threads is experimenting with a new search feature that allows users to filter results by recency. Adam Mosseri, a top executive at Threads, confirmed the test, explaining that the aim is to make it easier for users to access relevant search results in real time.

While this adjustment may seem minor, it addresses a longstanding frustration among Threads users who desire access to breaking news and timely discussions. Although the new feature doesn't offer a full chronological search, sorting by "recent" posts is expected to improve the visibility of current events and trending topics.
