AI is Changing the Landscape of Real Estate Listings, for Better or Worse.

Real estate agents are already using OpenAI's ChatGPT artificial intelligence software to write property listings, according to a report by CNN. The practice has been adopted by some agents as a way to save time and focus on other tasks.

However, critics have raised concerns that the technology could be used to write misleading descriptions of properties. Despite this, one real estate broker in Miami has found a more positive use for ChatGPT: helping tenants deal with negligent landlords and developers.

Andres Asion used the AI to write a letter threatening legal action on behalf of a client whose developer refused to fix her windows. Asion said the letter resulted in the developer finally showing up at the client's house. While some in the industry are using ChatGPT for potentially unethical purposes, this example shows that the technology can also be used for good.
