Beginning in January, you will have the ability to switch between various views.

Twitter is introducing a new feature that allows users to swipe between different views containing recommendations and tweets from accounts they follow, as well as trending topics and more. The feature was announced by CEO Elon Musk in a tweet, stating that it will be available in January.

Currently, Twitter users can switch between a chronological timeline showing the most recent tweets and a Home timeline with recommended tweets by tapping the stars icon on the top right corner of the screen. The new feature will allow for easier navigation and access to a wider range of content.

While this functionality may be useful for some users, it may take some time to get used to for others who may accidentally switch between views while scrolling through their timeline.

It is currently unknown when this feature will be available to all users. This new addition joins a list of other features recently rolled out by Twitter, including view counts on tweets, prioritized ranking for Blue subscribers, and square profile pictures for brands. These updates are seen by some as unnecessary and have been introduced by CEO Elon Musk.
