WhatsApp is working on a fresh interface design featuring a white top app bar with a green app name, set to debut in a future update. The messaging giant is actively refining this revamped interface before its beta release.

The latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.18.18 update on the Google Play Store offers a glimpse of these improvements. The top app bar now sports a white background, with a forthcoming plan to change the font of the app name to green, as revealed in a screenshot.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is developing a filtering feature that will enable users to sort their chats by criteria such as unread messages, personal conversations, and business chats. This feature, previously detected in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.14.17, is aimed at enhancing chat organization.

Similar updates are also being prepared for WhatsApp on iOS, bringing a unified interface and feature set to both platforms.
