Telegram is rolling out yet another handy feature — this time, it's an upgrade to the Stories section.

The main addition is the ability to organize your Stories into albums. Users can now group their content by themes directly in their profile. Here’s who it’s for and how to use it.

Who’s it for?

This update is especially useful for people who post Stories frequently. As a reminder, unlimited posting, priority placement, incognito mode, and other perks are currently only available to Telegram Premium users.

  • For example, nature-related Stories can go into one album, and city walks into another.
  • If you're a frequent traveler, you can now group your Stories by country — say, all UAE posts in one album and everything from China in another.

How to create a Story album

This feature is currently in beta and will be available to everyone soon.

To create a new album:

  • Go to your Telegram profile, tap the three dots (Android) in the top right corner.
  • Select “Add album.”
  • Give it a name — emojis are allowed, too.
  • Choose which Stories to include in the album.

Note: You’ll see a full list of all your previously published Stories (as long as they haven’t been deleted), including those hidden from your public profile.

How to manage your Story albums

You can add or remove Stories from an album anytime — no limits. Here’s how:

  1. Long-press the Story you want to remove.
  2. Tap “Remove from album” in the menu.

Want to remove multiple Stories at once?

  1. Tap “Select” from the same menu.
  2. Mark all the Stories you want to exclude.

One of the most useful features: you can manually reorder your Stories within an album. To do this:

  1. Tap the three dots (Android) in the top right corner.
  2. Select “Reorder.”

Telegram will then let you move any Story wherever you like, regardless of its original publication date.

Note: This option only works inside albums, not in your main Stories section.

How to share a Story album

You can also share your Story albums with others. Here’s how:

  1. Open the album and tap the three dots (Android) in the top right.
  2. Select “Share.”
  3. Choose from the list of chats, channels, or groups you manage — you can select more than one.

Pro tip: In the share menu, tap “Copy link.” This is helpful if you want to mention the album in a post or channel.
