ASI, the educational technology company formerly known as Digest.AI, has announced a collaboration with the UAE's Ministry of Education (MoE) to introduce AI-powered tutoring assistance, built on Microsoft AI.

This partnership is in line with the UAE's commitment to embrace technological innovation, including artificial intelligence, to improve the education system.

Under this partnership, the MoE will develop an AI Tutor pilot program in collaboration with ASI. The program will use ASI artificial intelligence systems and Personalized Language Models (PLMs) to provide individualized educational assistance in accordance with the UAE national curriculum.

"Our partnership with ASI underscores our unwavering dedication to embracing pioneering technology solutions and using them to envision the future of education," said His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education. "It also aligns with our drive to incorporate AI into the educational system, announced during the World Government Summit (WGS) 2023."

ASI will be responsible for building and maintaining the AI tutor platform, which is built on Microsoft AI, and providing technical support and training to students and educators.

"Our mission is to reimagine education and make quality learning accessible to students across the globe. We are thrilled to collaborate with the Ministry of Education to do just that in the UAE," said ASI's founder Quddus Pativada, who has become the youngest CEO in history to win a government contract.

ASI is building the U.A.E. AI Tutor with Microsoft’s AI capabilities including Azure OpenAI Service and Azure Machine Learning.

Unlike traditional AI-powered tutoring assistants, ASI's platform uses personalized language models that adapt to individual students' unique strengths and challenges over time. This approach aims to provide a more personalized and effective learning experience.
