TikTok has taken a major step in advancing its advertising capabilities by integrating Getty Images into its Symphony Creative Studio, the platform’s AI-powered ad creation tool. This collaboration gives advertisers direct access to Getty’s vast library of licensed photos and videos, enabling the creation of high-quality, AI-generated marketing content.
With Getty’s premium visuals now available, advertisers can use Symphony Creative Studio to design engaging ads featuring AI-generated avatars that resemble real people, multilingual dubbing, and customizable video formats. This partnership is part of TikTok’s broader strategy to expand its tools for brands and creators globally.
“This partnership offers seamless integration into TikTok’s Symphony Creative Studio, giving brands access to millions of premium images and videos to create powerful, engaging TikTok-first content,” said Peter Orlowsky, senior vice president of global strategic partnerships at Getty Images.
Symphony Creative Studio, first unveiled at TikTok’s World Product Summit earlier this year, is a cutting-edge AI tool designed to streamline ad creation. It enables advertisers to generate videos from text prompts, create realistic AI avatars, and use AI-powered dubbing to produce multilingual campaigns. The platform also allows users to remix existing ads and create multiple tailored versions for different audiences, making ad production faster and more adaptable.
While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, this integration positions TikTok as a leader in AI-driven advertising, competing with platforms like Meta and Google. By combining Getty’s renowned content library with TikTok’s generative AI technology, the platform is providing brands with innovative ways to create, customize, and connect with audiences more effectively.
