Telegram presents 10 new features

In a series of updates throughout January, Telegram has introduced 10 new features to enhance user experience.

These updates include Saved Messages 2.0, providing a powerful storage system for links, media, and bookmarks.

Users can organize saved messages with tags and view them by chat or as a compact list.

The premium tags feature allows users to add multiple tags for better organization.

Additionally, Telegram now offers a one-time voice and video message feature with automatic deletion after playback.

Users can pause and resume recording while creating messages.

The search functionality has been upgraded for improved navigation and a more compact list view of results. The fastest way to open search in any chat is by tap and hold on its title.

In private chats, users can now see the exact time when their messages were opened, enhancing communication transparency. The read times have granular privacy settings, visible for seven days before deletion.

Premium users enjoy advanced features, including the ability to hide last seen and read times selectively.

Furthermore, Telegram has introduced private message permissions for Premium users, allowing them to choose who can send them messages. A new design for shared contacts reflects user preferences, and video stories now load four times faster. Premium users can also opt for higher-quality video stories.

On iOS, video messages have seen improvements in recording quality, camera switching speed, and reduced camera shake. macOS users can now choose from 15 different app icons for customization.

The updates aim to offer a more versatile and efficient messaging experience on the Telegram platform.
