Investor and restaurateur Alexander Sysoev invested in Dubai express delivery service Yalla!Market and aggregator of marketplace Yalla!Hub.

The exact amount of the deal has not been disclosed by the angel investor.

Yalla!Market was launched in Dubai in August 2021 by Russian entrepreneurs Leonid Dovbenko and Stanislav Seleznyov. The service delivers groceries and everyday goods from its own dark stores within a radius of 3 km in 15-30 minutes.

By January 2023, the startup had already attracted more than $12 million from Wamda Capital, Doha Tech Angels, Fry One Ventures, AngelsDeck, Dubai Angel Investors and others.

In November 2022, the project opened access to its infrastructure to other companies to enter the UAE by launching the YallaHub service. The project offers subscription sellers a package solution to bring their goods to the UAE.

It includes legal clearance, logistics and customs clearance, dry and cold storage, marketing, customer service, order assembly and delivery to the buyer. More than 20 Russian brands have already entered the Dubai market through YallaHub.
