Adobe's Firefly AI comes to its Creative Cloud video and audio applications

One of the most exciting features is the ability to color grade a video by simply describing the desired mood and tone of the scene using just a few words.

These new AI-based features will also allow users to generate custom sounds and music and help editors create subtitles, logos, and title cards. By describing what they want these elements to look like, users can quickly create professional-grade content without the need for specialized skills.

Additionally, Firefly promises to automatically turn scripts into storyboards and pre-visualizations.

Firefly's focus was initially on generating commercially safe images, but Adobe is now expanding its technology to videos and audio applications.

While Adobe has only shown its own demos of these features, it aims to ensure that all its generative AI tools are safe to use in a commercial environment. So, it could be only trained on a limited number of images that were in public domain or part of its Adobe Stock service unlike Midjourney or Stable Diffusion.
