9 ways Google uses AI in its core products

Google AI team recently listed 9 ways of AI usage in Google`s products.

1. Search: AI enables to search in different languages and new inputs, for example, via camera or even with humming a tune.
2. Maps: AI provides up-to-date information about traffic, speed limits and routes.
3. Pixel: AI makes it possible for Pixel phones to translate between 21 languages in chat and facilitate a verbal conversation between 6 different languages.
4. Photos: AI in Google photos helps to organize, storage and bring your taken photos and memories.
5. YouTube: AI enables to automatically generate captions for videos, making them more accessible to a wider audience, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
6. Assistant: the Natural Language Processing (NLP) AI technology used in phones, TVs and cars helps to understand and respond in a way that mimics human communication.
7. Gmail: besides autocomplete and spell check AI blocks spam emails and prevents phishing attempts.
8. Ads: AI automatically produces and runs a highly effective ad campaign across all of Google’s properties helping businesses to find customers.
9. Cloud: AI is in DocAI for document processing, Contact Center AI for call center operations, Vertex Vision AI for video and image analysis, Translation Hub for translation in 100+ languages at scale, and many other examples.
