Microsoft to launch unified Xbox app with 'Game Pass' on iPhone

Microsoft announced plans to merge its Xbox and Xbox Game Pass apps into a single app for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

The combined app will allow users to manage their Game Pass memberships, browse the game catalog, claim perks, and more from one platform. As part of this transition, the Xbox Game Pass app will be removed from the App Store in November.

These updates will be available for Xbox beta members on mobile and will be coming to everyone soon,

says Microsoft in a blog post.

As part of these changes, we will no longer support new downloads of the Xbox Game Pass app, starting in November.

While Xbox Game Pass allows access to a rotating library of games, iPhone and iPad users won’t be able to play the titles directly on these devices.
