Razer has introduced a new product for gamers — the Clio pillow with integrated speakers. The accessory is positioned as an alternative to traditional headphones.

The device features a 5400 mAh battery, providing up to 14 hours of playback on a full charge. Clio attaches to a gaming chair using two straps, but the chair needs a high backrest to position the speakers close to the user’s ears.

The sound system includes two 43mm drivers paired with passive radiators. Razer promises "crisp, clear trebles and deep, punchy bass you can hear and feel." The pillow also supports THX Spatial Audio. Users can pair Clio with other speakers to use it as a rear audio channel.

Clio connects to devices via Bluetooth, and it also supports Razer HyperSpeed Wireless for low-latency connectivity to PCs.

The pillow is available for pre-order on Razer’s website for $229.99, with shipments starting on May 16.
