At the Figma Config conference, the company introduced a new lineup of AI features, significantly expanding the platform’s capabilities.

According to The Verge, designers can now go beyond interface design to build fully functional websites and apps from scratch — simply by providing a description.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Figma Sites — A visual website builder with templates, animations, and scrolling effects. Currently in beta for subscribers. Future updates will include AI code generation and an integrated CMS.
  • Figma Make — A “vibe-coding” tool that converts text descriptions into code and working prototypes, powered by Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 model. Available in beta.
  • Figma Buzz — An AI tool for marketers. It uses design templates to create email campaigns, social media posts, banners, and more. It can also generate and edit images based on text descriptions.
  • Figma Draw — A vector graphics editor with brushes and textures. The Verge compares it to a “lightweight Adobe Illustrator.” Available to subscribers.

The updates are already being rolled out, and Figma plans to introduce even more AI tools in the coming months.
