Tinder is introducing a new AI feature that will help users select their most attractive photos, while prioritizing privacy by processing everything on the device.

The AI scans your camera roll, chooses the best photos based on factors like lighting and composition, and suggests them for your profile. Importantly, Tinder ensures that biometric data used in this process, such as facial recognition, never leaves your device and is deleted once the feature is exited.

The feature has been in testing for nearly a year and will launch for US users by the end of the month, with a global rollout over the summer.
