X introduces video to Spaces, transforming live audio chats

X, formerly Twitter, has revamped its live audio feature, Spaces, by adding video functionality.

Hosts now have the option to activate video during chat sessions, with controls for camera selection and orientation. This update, currently available on iOS, distinguishes Spaces from its predecessor, Periscope, and enhances user engagement by allowing audience members to join the conversation.
