A federal judge has issued an order compelling Elon Musk to comply with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) subpoena and testify as part of an investigation into his takeover of Twitter.

Musk and the SEC have been given a week to arrange the logistics of his testimony or it will be determined for them. This development comes after Musk in the past failed to show up for a scheduled testimony and then refused to attend a rescheduled interview, leading to a lawsuit from the SEC.

Despite Musk's objections to the subpoena, the court found it valid, citing the SEC's authority and the need for further investigation into the matter.
