Apple explores slimmer camera bump design for iPhone 16 base model

The latest prototype showcases a vertical camera arrangement with a pill-shaped raised surface.

This fresh look features two separate camera rings for the Wide and Ultrawide lenses, reminiscent of earlier prototype designs. Notably, the position of the flash and lenses remains unchanged in this iteration.

This shift in design draws inspiration from previous iPhone models, such as the iPhone X, which sported a similar pill-shaped camera. Unlike the wider square bump seen on the iPhone 12, this new approach opts for a slimmer profile akin to the iPhone X's camera setup.
