YouTube, one of the major apps missing from the initial lineup of the Apple Vision Pro App Store, may soon find its way onto the platform.

According to a statement given to The Verge by YouTube, the company has confirmed that a Vision Pro app is on its roadmap, although no specific timeline has been provided.

The statement from YouTube reads,

We're excited to see Vision Pro launch and we're supporting it by ensuring YouTube users have a great experience in Safari. We do not have any specific plans to share at this time, but can confirm that a Vision Pro app is on our roadmap.

Historically, YouTube and its parent company Google have taken their time to adopt new Apple features, so it remains uncertain when exactly users can expect a dedicated YouTube app for the device. In the meantime, developer Christian Selig has created an app called "Juno" for watching YouTube on the Vision Pro, while YouTube videos can also be accessed through the Safari browser.
