Elon Musk confirms two new premium tiers for X

Elon Musk has announced that X (formerly Twitter) will soon introduce two new premium subscription tiers.

One tier will cost less than the current $8 per month plan but won't reduce ads, while the other, more expensive tier, will remove all ads. The prices for these new tiers have not been disclosed yet.

This move comes as X aims to increase its revenue and address a drop in ad revenue since Musk's takeover. Earlier this month, X also began testing a $1 per year plan for new users in New Zealand and the Philippines to combat bot activity on the platform.
