Meta expands Instagram's broadcast channels to Facebook and Messenger

Meta is expanding Telegram-like feature to Facebook and Messenger.

Originally launched on Instagram in February, this one-way messaging tool allows page administrators to send updates, photos, videos, and voice notes to their followers without posting on their main page.

Now, creators and public figures with Facebook pages will have access to this feature. While only administrators can send messages, participants can react and vote in polls. Notifications will alert participants to updates, but they can mute channels at any time.

The feature is gradually being rolled out to users.
