YouTube is testing a new feature that allows select participants to play bite-sized games within the YouTube app.

As an experimental offering, YouTube's bite-sized games are only available to a limited number of beta testers. Users can check if they have access by looking for a "Playables" tab next to content on the YouTube home feed. These games are accessible on both the desktop website and mobile devices.

While there is no official list of games available yet, reports suggest that one of the games, "Stack Bounce," involves maneuvering a ball through rings with well-timed clicks.

The move gives the popular video sharing platform a new level of interactivity, although it is not a full-fledged cloud game. YouTube's testing of bite-sized games follows similar moves by other streaming platforms like Netflix and TikTok.
