Audi unveils EP4 electric car concept, a modern tribute to the iconic NSU Prinz 4.
Developed by the company's trainees, the concept car celebrates the 150th anniversary of the plant in Neckarsulm, Germany, where the NSU manufacturer was based until 1969.
The Audi EP4 concept combines retro design elements with modern electric technology. It features an electric motor from the 2020 Audi E-Tron, delivering a power output of 176 kW. The motor is positioned at the rear of the car, providing a dynamic driving experience.
The EP4 uses a battery taken from the electric version of the Audi Q7 crossover as its power source. With a capacity of 17.3 kWh, the battery ensures sufficient energy storage for the electric vehicle. However, the company does not disclose the specific driving range of the Audi EP4.
Xavier Ros, Audi's Board Member for Human Resources, expressed his admiration for the unique project. He thanked the trainees for their dedication and creativity in designing the EP4, stating that they should be proud of the remarkable result. Ros also emphasized the importance of such projects in demonstrating Audi's commitment to developing young talent and ensuring a strong future for the company.
