TIME unveils its list of the TIME100 Most Influential Companies in the world

TIME magazine has unveiled its highly anticipated annual list of the TIME100 Most Influential Companies for 2023, showcasing the businesses and leaders that are shaping the future.

The third edition of the list features a diverse range of companies from various sectors, each making a significant impact in their respective industries.

The 2023 TIME100 Most Influential Companies issue boasts two worldwide covers, putting the spotlight on prominent CEOs and top executives who have played pivotal roles in their companies' success. The covers feature Kim Kardashian, the founder of Skims, and Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI. The issue also includes in-depth profiles that delve into the accomplishments and visions of these influential figures.

TIME's Chief Executive Officer, Jessica Sibley, emphasized the transformative power of businesses as agents of change. She stated,

Notable names include OpenAI, Nvidia, Google DeepMind, Hugging Face, Metaphysic, and Runway, among others.

Additionally, sustainability-focused companies have seen a significant increase, accounting for over 15% of the list.

Surprisingly, 42% of the companies featured on the list have fewer than 500 employees, demonstrating the influence and impact that small and agile businesses can have.

Major technology companies like Samsung, Google DeepMind, Microsoft, and Apple have secured spots on the list.

In the healthcare industry, Novo Nordisk, Cost Plus Drugs, and Virta Health are among the companies recognized for their groundbreaking contributions.

Entertainment giants such as TikTok, Disney, and Live Nation Entertainment are also acknowledged for their significant influence.

The sports industry is represented by Major League Baseball and Formula OneOne.

The fashion and retail sector is well-represented on the list, with notable brands like The North Face, Crocs, Skims, and LVMH making an impact. These companies, along with others on the list, have demonstrated their ability to shape and redefine their respective industries.
