TECNO Presents PHANTOM X2 Pro — Smartphone with a Retractable Portrait Lens

Flagship revolutionizes image-making in the smartphone industry, according to company.

The presentation of new smartphone devices took place in Dubai, at TECNO Flagship Product Launch 2022. The developers introduced the flagship PHANTOM X2 series, including two devices - PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G and PHANTOM X2 5G. Durov's Code visited an event to tell everything about announcement.

Both models are powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip with a 3.05GHz clock speed. The Mali-G710 MC10 chip provides the graphics. The senior PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G smartphone received 256 GB ROM and 12 GB RAM and a 5160 mAh battery. The junior model will differ in the capacity of RAM - 8 GB.

PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G has a unique camera that lowers the threshold for “studio-like” portrait photography. The device is equipped with a retractable portrait lens with 2.5x optical zoom and large F1.49 aperture. The junior model PHANTOM X2 5G received a 64-megapixel sensor with an RGBW sensor and a 5P + 1G lens. Both devices received 13-megapixel wide angle and a 32-megapixel front camera.

Smartphones are equipped with AMOLED displays with a diagonal of 6.8 inches, FHD + resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a 20:9 screen ratio. Gorilla Glass Victus going to protect the display from scratches.

The PHANTOM X2 Series includes the PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G Eco-Friendly Edition. This special edition features a pioneering environmentally friendly back cover, constructed using recycled waste plastics recovered from the ocean.

The PHANTOM X2 Series will be available to purchase from the end of December globally. The cost of the smartphone is not specified.
