Two new services launched by the UAE health ministry

These are 3D Digital Metaverse Assessment Service for evaluating the health practitioner by the authorities and thermal imaging technology for diagnosing and monitoring patients’ conditions.

Combining the real, virtual and digital worlds, the 3D platform improves the performance of both state and private medical services. The advanced assessment service would enable the authorities to remotely evaluate health practitioners and, thus, the Ministry of and Prevention (MoHAP) aims to recruit and encourage professionals and talented specialists.

The process of assessment is confidential and secured through the 3D Digital Metaverse Assessment Service, so, examinees can safely provide any required documents or information during the assessment.

The new thermal imaging technology would significantly improve the process of diagnosing and monitoring patients’ states. Connected to a mobile phone, a portable camera can scan and track patients` conditions through body temperature measurements. The advanced technology can be in one row with well-proven techniques, for example, X-rays, MRI, ultrasound.

The UAE’s ministry aims to better customer experience and enhance the level of services by implementing advanced technologies and digital infrastructure.
