In an significant move to build trust and ensure the integrity of its solutions and processes, Kaspersky, one of the world's leading cybersecurity companies, has opened the "Kaspersky Transparency Center" in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The center, a first of its kind in the Middle East, was inaugurated by His Excellency Engineer Haitham bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ohali, the Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in the presence of officials from the Ministry, representatives from the company, and technology industry specialists.

This milestone marks Kaspersky's commitment to transparency and aligns with the goals of "Saudi Vision 2030," which emphasizes digital transformation and aims to establish the Kingdom as a global technology and innovation hub. The Transparency Center in Riyadh allows visitors to review the source code of all Kaspersky on-premise solutions and plays an important role in building trust in digital technologies in the region.

The Transparency Center offers a unique review process categorized by "piste" skiing classification color codes. The "blue piste" provides an overview of Kaspersky's security development processes and data management procedures. The "red piste" allows for a review of critical aspects of source code with assistance from company specialists. The "black piste" enables the most comprehensive source code review with the support of Kaspersky's experts.

Eugene Kaspersky, Founder and CEO of Kaspersky, highlighted the importance of the Global Transparency Initiative, celebrating its five-year anniversary, and expressed enthusiasm for its expansion into the Middle East. He stated, "In order to enhance our partners' confidence in the services we provide to them, we are pleased to welcome them to the newly opened Transparency Center in Riyadh to answer any questions about the nature of our work and our solutions."

The Riyadh Transparency Center, located in Kaspersky's new offices, also contributes to Saudi Arabia's efforts to accelerate growth in the information and communications technology sector. Kaspersky is actively supporting the Kingdom's initiatives by upskilling Saudi nationals in high-tech roles and enhancing critical infrastructure within key training sectors.
