Ferrari has officially unveiled the Luce, the company's first fully electric vehicle, according to the manufacturer's website.

The Luce is powered by four electric motors, one for each wheel. The front axle delivers 210 kW, the rear axle 620 kW, with a total combined output of 1,050 horsepower and 7,750 Nm of torque at the wheels. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h. A 122 kWh battery with an 800-volt architecture provides a driving range of 530 kilometers. The vehicle has a curb weight of 2,260 kg.

The Luce seats five and comes with a spacious hatchback-style trunk, an unusual choice for Ferrari. The company is positioning the model as an entry point into the brand for a new audience drawn to the combination of zero emissions and everyday practicality.

The exterior and interior design were developed by LoveFrom, the studio led by former Apple chief designer Jony Ive and Marc Newson. Ferrari deliberately brought in an outside team to introduce a perspective on luxury that is uncommon in the automotive industry. The silhouette features reverse-hinged doors, a windshield that flows seamlessly into the hood, and a floating front spoiler. The wipers park to the sides rather than in the center.

The cabin contains no plastic components. The primary material is recycled aluminum, used to construct, among other parts, the 19 components of the steering wheel. The instrument cluster is a 12.86-inch OLED display, with a physical illuminated aluminum needle for the speedometer. A central 10.12-inch screen is mounted on a swivel that can rotate toward the driver or passenger. The key fob carries a Ferrari logo that changes color via e-ink when placed in its dock. The audio system features 21 speakers and 3,000 watts of total power.

Among the car's technical features are a separate subframe mounted on elastic supports, a first for Ferrari, torque vectoring on all four wheels, an active suspension system, and the latest version of the Side Slip Control system, designated as Version X. The vehicle's sound is generated artificially. An accelerometer on the rear axle picks up the natural frequencies of the rotating components, which are then amplified using a principle similar to an electric guitar. The front motors spin up to 30,000 rpm and reach maximum output in under a second. The brakes are carbon-ceramic, measuring 390 mm at the front and 372 mm at the rear.

The Luce is built on more than 60 new Ferrari patents. During production, CO₂ emissions were reduced by 70% through the use of recycled aluminum alloys.

Ferrari had previously revealed the interior of the Luce back in February 2026.

At the time, the company also disclosed its collaboration with LoveFrom and its concept of "human-centric" controls: physical switches in place of touch panels, Corning Fusion 5 glass with 13,000 laser microperforations on the central console, and OLED dial gauges inspired by the classic Veglia and Jaeger instruments found in vintage Ferraris.

The starting price of the Ferrari Luce is €550,000, or roughly $640,000. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
