Many start-ups all around the world invest money to fulfill the dream of creating urban air mobility (UAM). In April 2022, a subsidiary of Eve Holding, Inc. and Falcon Aviation Services, a leading Business Aviation Services operator in MENA, signed a Letter of Intent for up to 35 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircrafts. This aircaft is to represent basically an electrified aircarft reduced to a taxi's black cab proportions.

With first air passenger deliveries expected to start in 2026, the partnership will introduce first eVTOL touristic flights from the Emirati Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. For now, Eve and Falcon will work together with the local stakeholders and UAE authorities to support the development of the UAM ecosystem in Emirates. The launch of this concept aligns with the Smart Dubai vision and is seen as a contribution to promoting Dubai as a pioneer in sustainable UAM transportation.

Besides, the initiative is aimed at delivering an effective new urban transportation mode, thus, providing the Emirati community and tourists with better and faster transport solutions. In this context, the project can be the first step on the path to the revolution of sustainable urban mobility.
