Soon, Dubai's iconic tourist hotspots and airports will have an added layer of innovation—meet Dubai Police's new AI-powered assistant, Amna.

Set to be available soon across the city, this virtual officer will assist tourists and residents alike with various services, from reporting lost items to navigating fines and other police-related services. Our team had the opportunity to speak with Dubai Police representatives during GITEX Global 2024 to get the inside scoop.

Officer Amna doesn’t just speak one or two languages—she’s a multilingual marvel. Capable of communicating in seven languages—Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian, and German—Amna makes sure no one feels lost in translation. Whether you're filing a complaint, paying traffic fines, or just looking for guidance, Amna is here to walk you through the process.

Dubai Police’s spokesperson explained that Amna can respond to user queries via voice commands, streamlining police services for everyone. Accessible through the Dubai Police app, she will soon be rolled out in public places like malls and airports, making services even more convenient for tourists and residents alike.

While the service isn't fully operational just yet, Dubai Police promises that its launch is just around the corner. This digital transformation highlights the city's continued push toward integrating AI into public services, ensuring a safer and more efficient experience for everyone in Dubai.
