Ray-Ban Meta glasses users can now enjoy seamless integration with Apple Music, thanks to a new update that brings voice controls to the smart eyewear.

With built-in speakers, users can listen to their favorite tunes as if wearing Bluetooth headphones, but now with added convenience.

The update, available for both the glasses and the Meta View app, allows users to connect their Apple Music account directly to the smart glasses. This means they can control their music hands-free simply by using voice commands. For example, by saying "Hey Meta," users can request to play a song, playlist, album, station, or artist.

Additionally, a new gesture has been introduced that enables users to touch and hold the stem of the glasses to play their personalized station with recommended songs. Users can also ask the glasses to identify the currently playing song using voice commands.

In addition to the music integration, firmware 4.0 of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses also brings compatibility with WhatsApp and Messenger, allowing users to use the glasses as a video camera.
