This new functionality aims to make it easier for users to share important details about their upcoming dates with family and friends.

The Share My Date feature allows users to generate a single link containing key information about their planned date, including the location, date, and time, along with a photo of their match and a link to their profile. Users can also add additional notes and edit the details as needed, ensuring that those they share the link with have the most up-to-date information.

According to Tinder, research shows that around 51 percent of users under 30 already share date details with friends, and 19 percent share them with family members. Share My Date simplifies this process by providing a convenient way to keep loved ones informed about upcoming plans.

Safety has been a growing concern in the online dating world, and features like Share My Date aim to address these concerns by empowering users to take proactive measures. In 2020, Match.com introduced a similar feature called date check-in, which allowed users to send details about their date to emergency contacts if needed.

Share My Date will be available in various countries, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, and several European and Asian countries.
