In a recent announcement, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Threads will be introducing an edit button for all users.

This new feature allows users to make changes to their posts for a brief window of time after they've been published. During the first five minutes after posting, users have the freedom to edit their content as much as needed, but this option becomes unavailable after the five-minute period.

The edit button functionality is accessible both through the mobile app and the web version of Threads, and it has already started appearing for some users. Unlike Twitter's edit feature, Threads does not maintain a history of edited posts. It will simply indicate whether a post has been edited or not.

In addition to the edit button, Threads is also introducing "Voice Threads." This feature allows users to attach audio clips to their posts, enhancing the platform's multimedia capabilities. While Voice Threads have been demonstrated by some users like Tom Warren, it seems that this feature is not yet widely available, particularly on the Android version of the app.
